Once you make and try this recipe, you will most likely include it in your holiday dishes. This takes 2 days to make.
Ingredients:
1 can crushed pineapple (drain into a cup and set aside)
6 tbls granulated sugar
1 egg - beaten
1 tbls flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbls vinegar
1 pint whipping cream (2 cups)
1 1/2 cups seedless grapes halved
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup mini marshmallows
Directions for day 1:
Mix sugar, egg, flour and salt in a small bowl
In a small sauce pan add the drained pineapple juice
Add in the sugar, flour and salt mixture to pineapple juice and heat until thickened
Pour into a bowl, add vinegar, stir and refrigerate overnight
Directions for Day 2:
Whip your whipping cream and add drained crushed pineapple, pecans, halved grapes and mini marshmellows
Stir in your juice mixture from the day before
Refrigerate overnight (or at least a couple hours before serving)
