- 5 cups flour
- 1 lb lard (soft)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- Mix salt, baking powder, and flour together
- Cut in lard until lumpy
- In a measuring cup - Beat egg and vinegar.
- Fill up rest of measuring cup with milk to equal one cup. Add to lard mixture a bit at a time until dough forms into a ball.
- knead a few seconds. Wrap dough or put in air tight plastic bowl. Refrigerate and take out after one hour. before rolling.
