Making jalapeno hot sauce is super easy. This recipe is a make it and use it that will last in the refrigerator for up to 6 months. But it most likely will be used up way before then. It's that good!

How To Make Jalapeño Pepper Hot Sauce
When the season is over and you have a lot of jalapeño peppers, here is a great way to use them. Make Jalapeño Pepper Hot Sauce with them! And this recipe is so delicious! This jalapeno hot sauce is real quick and easy to make and will last for months... If it lasts that long! I used both red an green jalapenos for a delicious chili pepper hot sauce. NOTE: This is not a fermented hot sauce.

INGREDIENTS:

My peppers were small and extra hot this year so I used:
  • 20 - 25 jalapeño peppers cut in half and seeded (I used both red and green jalapenos)
  • 3 TBS Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 4-5 Garlic smashed or to taste
  • About a TBS salt
  • 1 1/2 Cups Orange Pineapple Apple juice. (Or pineapple will work)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Prepare your jalapenos. Cut the top off and either slice in half or dice in food processor.
  2. Leave seeds in for a hotter sauce or remove them for a less hot sauce.
  3. Simmer for 10 to 20 minutes until juice is reduced to about half
  4. Place in blender and puree
  5. Place in bottle or jar
  6. Let cool
  7. Refrigerate

Enjoy!
