This HOT & SPICY FIRE EATER Elk Burger Smoked In A Lone Star Grillz Pellet Grill had so much flavor, it's a MUST try if you can take the heat! I used elk, but you can obviously use beef to make this HOT & SPICY Burger! And of course you can make it as hot as you like! If you like spicy food, you will absolutely love this Fire Eater Burger!

Fire Eater Burger Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground elk. Or ground beef
  • Pickled jalapenos
  • Hatch Green Chiles
  • Red Pepper Flakes (I used Hatch Green and Red Pepper Flakes)
  • Spicy SPG or any hot spice you like
  • PepperJack Cheese
  • Burger Buns

Fire Eater Burger Sauce Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbs Dukes Mayonaise (or your favorite)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp hot sauce

This is enough for one burger so adjust to what you need

Fire Eater Burger Directions:

  1. Preheat your pellet grill to 275 degrees (250 if yours doesn't have that temp setting) Yes you can do this on any grill or oven
  2. Add 3 tablespoons (more or less) of red pepper flakes to your ground beef (I used elk) and mix well
  3. Form two patties to make one burger so as thin or thick as you like
  4. On one patty, add a layer of pickled jalapenos
  5. Cover with another patty and pinch the edges to make a good seal
  6. Dust the top with some spicy SPG (salt, pepper, garlic) or your favorite spicy rub/spice
  7. Add your burger to your Pellet Grill, Grill, or Oven
  8. Cook/smoke until the internal temp reaches above 150 degrees (mine took 45 minutes)
  9. At 155 degrees I topped with Hatch Green Chiles and PepperJack Cheese
  10. Keep in grill for an additional 5 to 10 minutes to allow the cheese to melt over the green chiles
  11. Add your Fire Eater Burger Sauce to your bottom bun
  12. Add your Fire Eater Burger patty to bun, add more sauce, top with bun and...
ENJOY!
