- 2 tbsp butter or margarine
- 1 -14 oz can Tomato Sauce with tomato bits
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups macaroni, cooked and drained
- 4 hard boiled eggs, diced
- Melt butter in saucepan and add tomato sauce, onion, garlic, salt and pepper
- Simmer 10 minutes
- Add half of the cheese
- Heat until cheese melts
- Stir in macaroni and eggs
- Pour into greased 2 quart casserole
- Sprinkle remaining cheese on top
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
