- 1 egg
- 1/2 c beer
- 1/2 c crushed saltine crackers
- 1/4 c finely chopped onion
- 6 tbsp creamy French salad dressing
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 6 hamburger buns, split
- Combine egg, 1/4 cup of the beer, cracker crumbs, onion, 2 tbsp of dressing, the cheese and salt.
- Add meat; mix well and form into 6 patties, 3/4 inch thick
- For the sauce - mix remaining 1/4 cup beer and remaining 4 tbsp dressing.
- Grill meat over medium coals about 10 mins or to desired doneness, turning once.
- Baste occasionally with remaining sauce. Servce on buns.
