  • 2 1/2 lbs groud lean pork
  • 2 cups shredded raw potatoes
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1 tbsp (each)  savory, cloves, garlic 
  • 1/2 cup hot water
Combine and cook until meat is grey in colour. Cover and simmer 30 mins. Let cool. 

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water (beat egg and water together for glaze)

Add:  Bread crumbs. Put into pie crust and cover with top crust. Glaze with water and egg
Bake at 400F for 40 minutes or until it bubbles.
