Chicken Alfredo in a Pellet Grill or Baked in an Oven

Looking for a quick and delicious smoked chicken alfredo recipe? This Pellet Grill recipe takes “easy” to the next level! It’s a true dump-and-smoke meal—just add all your ingredients to a pan, place it in your pellet smoker, and let the magic happen. It only takes about 10 minutes to put this together, you don’t have to boil the noodles, and it’s certain your friends and family will love this Chicken Alfredo. It’s easy, cheesy, and full of flavor! Let me know if you make this delightful Chicken Alfredo recipe!

Similar to my smoked mac and cheese, this creamy, cheesy smoked chicken alfredo is packed with flavor and perfect for busy nights. And yes, if you don’t have a pellet grill, you can easily make this dump-and-bake chicken alfredo in your oven, too!

Give it a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Box or 1lb Penne pasta
  • 2 Chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces
  • 3.5 – 4 cups Chicken broth. I used store bought, but if you have homemade you can use that.
  • 2 – 15 oz bottles of Classico Alfredo sauce or your favorite. Or of course you can make your own.
  • About a 1/4 to 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese

Optional: additional parmesan cheese for topping or Asiago, Romana, Parmesan blend like I used and if you have parsley, parsley as a garnish for your Chicken Alfredo.

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients into a pan, minus the cheese for topping. Yes, even the raw chicken. You can smoke the chicken first if you want to.
  2. Smoke at 225 Degrees F for 30 minutes so that you capture that smoke flavor.
  3. After 30 minutes, cover your pan with foil and turn your pellet grill up to 400 degrees.
  4. Cook for 40 minutes or until your pasta is al dente.
  5. Remove foil, top with cheese and cook for 5 additional minutes or until cheese is melted. Your Chicken Alfredo is now ready to enjoy.

ENJOY!
