  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c beer
  • 1/2 c crushed saltine crackers
  • 1/4 c finely chopped onion
  • 6 tbsp creamy French salad dressing
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 6 hamburger buns, split
  1. Combine egg, 1/4 cup of the beer, cracker crumbs, onion, 2 tbsp of dressing, the cheese and salt.
  2. Add meat; mix well and form into 6 patties, 3/4 inch thick
  3. For the sauce - mix remaining 1/4 cup beer and remaining 4 tbsp dressing.
  4. Grill meat over medium coals about 10 mins or to desired doneness, turning once.  
  5. Baste occasionally with remaining sauce. Servce on buns.
